The Narrowpath Scholarship 

The Narrow Path Scholarship is designed to support students who are committed to perseverance, integrity, and a deep sense of curiosity and joyful expectation —the belief that life holds meaningful opportunities for those who seek them. This scholarship seeks applicants who have a desire to succeed and make a significant impact in the lives of those around them. It is for students who are not only goal-oriented but also willing to walk the “narrow path”—one that requires strong character, commitment, resilience, and a mindset that values learning as a lifelong pursuit. The Narrow Path Scholarship is funded by The Oasien group, LLC.

New for 2026–2027: A National Scholarship Category and a $2,000 Award​

As The Narrow Path Scholarship enters its third year, we are excited to announce that we're growing! Each scholarship award is increasing to $2,000, double the previous award of $1,000. For the first time, we are also opening the scholarship to students across the country.

​

Scholarships will be awarded in two categories:

  • Category 1: Mexia High School Scholarship ($2,000). Open to graduating seniors at Mexia High School in Mexia, Texas. This category continues our commitment to the Mexia community, where the scholarship began.

  • Category 2: National Scholarship ($2,000). Open to graduating high school seniors from any of the 50 states.

Essay Question – Choose one question (300-400 words)

  1. What impact do you hope to have on your community or the world, and how are you already working toward that vision?

  2. What kind of person do you strive to become, and what values guide your choices?

Short Answer Response (Video): Tell us about a parent or parent-figure who has shaped your perspective on life. What lessons have you learned from them, and how do those lessons influence your goals and aspirations?  Submit a 2-3 minute video response ​​
